How much does travel insurance with Europe or world coverage cost?
What you pay for travel insurance with Europe coverage depends on various factors. Firstly, it depends on the duration of the travel insurance. You can choose short-term or continuous travel insurance. In addition, you can choose only basic insurance or basic and supplementary insurance. For example, for winter sports or countries with a higher risk of accidents and/or damage. The costs for travel insurance vary based on the desired coverage and the desired insurer.
The costs of worldwide coverage may also differ per insurer. It is therefore useful to have a list of your wishes and to compare them with different insurance policies .
Children up to 4 years old
If you have a short-term insurance policy, children up to and including the age of 4 are insured for free with most insurers. The children are just as well insured as the parent(s) or supervisor(s) without paying premiums. If you have continuous travel insurance, you can often also have your children co-insured. The conditions for this depend on each insurer.
